Did you Know that Vans Shoes have been Around Since 1966

Vans shoes got their name from a Paul Van Doren who founded the company based on a simple idea. Paul decided to put together a plan where he was to make and sell shoes directly to the public, thus cutting out the need for middlemen. He teamed up with partners Jim Van Doren, Gordy Lee and Serge D'Elia in Southern California and they had their first 'official' day of business back on March the 15th, 1966 where there were just 3 styles of shoes on offer.

Those early Vans Skool shoes had a diamond pattern which spanned across the bottom of the sole, a design which is now Vans proprietary waffle sole. It was in the year 1976 that skaters and skateboarders began wearing the shoes and Vans shoes soon employed 2 professional skaters to help with designs which catered specifically to the growing demand of for sporty footwear.

Vans Shoes - Wearers will tell you it's Money Well Spent!

The rest as they say is history and today Vans footwear has something like 60 plus styles in shoes which range from the popular classic desk shoes and slip-on types, to the famous high performing skateboard jobs, snowboard boots and sandals. Any Vans shoes outlet will have fine displays of the fashionable Vans slip on shoes, the much adored and admired Vans classic shoes and their current range of popular Vans skateboard shoes. We only have one pair of feet and this is why buying quality brands in footwear is essential if we are to avoid unnecessary foot problems later in life. Vans shoes are money which is very well spent.

How Cheap are the Cheap Vans Shoes?

There's a lot of competition around with footwear today, and that's great news for the we consumers, but I have to say that Vans shoes are perhaps the best value for money footwear I have ever come across. The Vans No Skool Skate Shoe for Men can be found starting at under $30 and the Vans Classic Slip On Lucky Girl Print Unisex at around $45. In fact across the range you will find most of the Vans footwear starting as low as $27 up to little more than $65 for most popular styles.

Vans - The Original Skateboarding Shoes. A brand name that’s' been around and has passed all the tests of time. I'm sure, like most products, there will be critics, but personally I can't speak highly enough of this popular footwear. We have style, comfort, durability, and great prices. It just doesn't get much better than that.

Making informed decisions about new footwear was always a bit hit-and-miss in years gone by, but not so any more. There is probably not a single popular brand of shoe or boot that hasn’t been reviewed and published online by those who have tried them out. That’s reviews from real consumers, and not promotional pieces written by the manufacturers. Whether you’re a potential first time customer for Vans shoes, Dansko clogs or hideous Crocs, you can no buy with more confidence than ever before.
